Magnolia No. 8

I photographed this series of twelve magnolias in Roswell, Georgia on a morning when the blossoms seemed to move as if they knew I was watching. Each image in the series captures a different mood — different light, different color backgrounds — but all of them share the same quality: stillness. This is a white deciduous magnolia at the peak of its brief, glorious season. Printed on archival paper with pigment inks that resist fading for generations. Editions are limited — once a size sells out, it's gone.
