Two peach dogwood blossoms, close enough to touch — they seemed to have found each other. I named it Slow Dance because that's exactly what it looked like: unhurried, intimate, caught in a moment that wouldn't last. This image was juried into Slow Exposures in 2011, selected by National Geographic photographer Peter Essick — one of the most competitive fine art photography shows in the Southeast. Trained at the Southeastern School of photography, Bodner learned on slide film, printing in the darkroom and currently works with a Nikon Z7 and Photoshop.

State Park Images at Atlanta Airport

Landscape work by Bodner from three Georgia State Parks are on display at the Atlanta Hartsfield International Airport. Be sure to look for them as you return from an international trip. They are right before arriving at the luggage carousel.

Flowers tell stories

It's amazing how so much detail shows up each Spring with such little work on our part. The display of color delights, but doesn't last long. It's my goal to catch the beauty each season.
